Children’s Ministry:
Our children’s ministry team is dedicated to coming alongside Sanctuary families to teach our children of the truth and love found in scripture. On the second Sunday of each month, we take the opportunity to learn together as a body by holding “Inter-generational Sundays” during which all generations of attendees worship together in service (the nursery is open for those in preschool and younger). On all other Sundays, the children’s classes meet in the Alhambra Room upstairs.
Image of Grace:
The Image of Grace Ministry is a care committee that aims to support, encourage, and help the people of Sanctuary. The image of Grace Ministry nurtures and embraces individuals at our church, so that they know they are recognized and cared for by our family in Christ at Sanctuary.
Ways that this is done are through meals, notes of encouragement, phone-calls, and specialty care packages.

Sanctuary has partnered with many other organizations to support families coming off the streets.  We assemble a “move-in kit” with basic home necessities like mops and brooms.  We provide basic human connection and encouragement as the transition off the streets can be lonely and stressful.
The Greenhouse:
The Greenhouse is a Christian community center located in the Gardenland/Northgate neighborhood.  It serves a neighborhood with one of the highest concentrations of children in poverty in the Sacramento area.  The Greenhouse seeks to build on the inherent dignity, strengths, and leadership gifts of families and youth for the purposes of community-wide transformation

Missionaries give their lives to serve others, but they sometimes need special care and support. Linda Swanson is a former missionary who has devoted herself to serve the servants. Paraclete Mission Group comes alongside mission agencies, churches, and church planting movements involved in expanding the Kingdom of God around the world. Paraclete associates like Linda are experienced missionaries and professionals who use their histories, skills, and gifts to partner with individuals and organizations to help them be effective in life and ministry.
