Jesus on Mission: Happiness and the Worst Case Scenario
Series: Matthew 10
Have you seen those Worst Case Scenario books? One could almost write an entire "worst case" book out of this section of Matthew 10. Jesus lays it on pretty thick. I mean, he couldn't have gone much more "worst case" than "everyone will hate you because of me." And yet even in the worst case, he calls people into a life where they are secure in God and cannot be shaken. So, here we are. Can the "worst case" take away our happiness in Jesus? Did Jesus' "worst case" take away his happiness in his Father?
